Data Engineer - Python, AWS, SQL

We are working with an investment advisory firm in London are seeking a talented Data Engineer with strong Python, AWS, and SQL skills to join their dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing the data infrastructure and systems, ensuring that our data pipelines are reliable, scalable, and efficient.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines to process and transform large amounts of data

• Design, implement and maintain databases and data warehouses
• Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and help design data solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, consistency, and performance
• Automate data processing tasks and workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Python and SQL programming languages

• Solid understanding of AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and Redshift
• Experience in designing and building scalable and high-performance data pipelines
• Familiarity with data modeling, database design, and ETL processes
• Experience in data analysis and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar
• Good understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
