Citi is embarking on a multi-year technology initiative to upgrade our core accounting and servicing application for its Agency, NonAgency and Bi-lateral Lending businesses globally in order to support growth and strategic objectives including reduction in manual efforts leading to risk mitigation within the environment. The technology stack transformation will include migrating to the Loan IQ platform and exiting current products that support the businesses. A dedicated Loan IQ implementation team is needed in order to lead and deliver against the implementation timelines including technology and operational Loan IQ Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who will engage to drive integrations, conversion, reporting and testing components of the transformation program. The team will have a strong understanding of the Loan IQ product coupled with strong understanding of Loan Operations to ensure the platform meets the defined set of requirements.

The right resource will have deep industry knowledge in the core application processes and the configuration capabilities of the Loan IQ platform. The expectation is the right resource will provide an industry perspective on best practices for consideration by the working team while also considering the needs of Citi businesses. They will have strong communication and diplomacy skills in order to influence internal partners to ensure right solutions are deployed. The ability to focus on details while ensuring higher level objectives are achieved, are critical to the success of this role.

Manage deliverables of the Banking and Lending program i.e. leading sub-projects through analysis, design, testing, migration and implementation of LoanIQ. Lead functional requirements gathering sessions with the business. Document and validate functional requirements with the business. Assist in the review of functional requirements with IT. Interface with business users to help define the business processes as well as gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Ensures the process outputs needed by the project team are created in a timely fashion including business and functional requirements, use cases, flow diagrams, etc.
The IT Business Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide input during development and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects
  • Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
  • Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives
  • Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems and industry standards
  • Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Define & manage business specifications end-to-end and act as facilitator between the Operations, IT and other areas such as reporting, finance, legal & compliance etc. Execute Analysis & Design in different stages of the project. Detailed test planning and coordination of testing activities front-to-back in cooperation with other involved areas. Conduct workshops and interview with stakeholders. Work with QA and Business Owners to develop QA/UAT test plans/cases.
  • Provide LoanIQ SME knowledge, functional system expertise and support to development resources and users
Qualifications:
  • LOANIQ experience of syndicated and bilateral lending plus some knowledge of loan trading
  • D emonstrated ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • SQL skills an advantage
  • Ability to troubleshoot / follow a methodical approach to problem resolution
  • A sound knowledge of loan transactions and processing, including P/L events and fees
  • Experience of Event Manager configuration and setup
  • Knowledge of Loan IQ GL accounting
  • Experience of working with data feeds and interfaces from Loan IQ , experience of Loan IQ API's preferable
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
