Investment Operations Analyst, In-house Investment Team

Our client is an award winning in-house investment team for a non-for-profit pension scheme with billions under management. This Middle Office position will be based with the Front office in the City of London.

The Investment Operations Analyst will work as a team of 2 and will have extensive interaction with the in-house Front Office team as well as external Fund Managers, third party administrators and vendors for data & systems. This role will suit an analytical problem solver with investment operations experience gained in an asset management firm to join this dynamic, collaborative team.

This is an exceptional opportunity which offers enormous access to the investment team as well as exposure to most asset classes from vanilla bonds and equities to hedge funds, private markets to direct property. Along with your oversight responsibilities for third party administration, data and external fund management (circa 35 external Fund Managers), your day-to day responsibilities will include trade execution, cash postings, data management as well as the investigation/resolution of issues within the order management system and the third party administrator.

You will also contribute and get involved in delivering strategic change leading and owning key project initiatives.

To be considered, candidates will be degree educated, with a minimum of 2 years financial services operations experience such as trade processing, middle office or fund operations oversight or a fund accounting and will be looking for front office exposure.
