Amazing opportunity to work at a large Investment Bank as an Event Marketing Project Manager!

Job Title: Event Marketing Project Manager

Location: London

Assignment Duration: 6 months with a strong chance of extension/conversion

Salary: £375 daily rate

Job Purpose:

Deliver complex event management (including planning, logistics and reconciliation analysis) plus associated projects for all major businesses in their relations with existing clients and in new client engagement and development across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver large, complex or high profile (C-Suite and Board Level) EMEA meetings, events, conferences and seminars (proprietary and sponsored) in live, hybrid and virtual formats
  • Manage all components of project budgets up to $2MM, including the approval process and risk controls
  • Manage event project cycle from taking a brief, pre-event planning, handling all logistics (to include agenda, invitations, registration, supplier management, travel, accommodation, on-site execution), full production for virtual and hybrid events, to full budget reconciliation and event debrief analysis and ROI
  • Work in close liaison with all Business and Functions across the business and external corporate clients and investors, offering strategic advice and reporting and analytics
  • Ensure, execute, and advocate for compliance of firm's policies concerning governance, compliance, audit, risk, and control
  • Always ensure adherence to governance and budgetary guidelines through checks on meeting requests, approvals, risk assessments, invoices, expenses etc. prior to processing and/or authorisation
  • Ensure adherence to all information security policies for virtual platforms and solutions
  • Maintain data integrity within the event management database and provide appropriate metric analysis
  • Provide subject matter expertise to related operational projects
  • Drive and collaborate on ad-hoc projects or partnerships in addition to event management
  • Coach and supervise Event Project Coordinators and Senior Event Project Coordinators as required
  • Support strategic review of event calendar including allocation of resources and talent
  • Partner with (and act as a delegate for) M&E Managers as required to ensure team deliverables are met
  • Participate in the strategic vision of the group

Experience:
  • Seasoned event management professional (8+

years)
  • Managed and executed complex, high-profile

events in a live, hybrid and virtual format with a

range of senior attendees and complex budgets
  • Significant experience and in-depth understanding

of technical event production/broadcast

environment
  • Ability to manage multiple large scale or senior

projects simultaneously without supervision
  • Extensive understanding and experience of, with

a developed network in the events market and

trends in EMEA
  • Excellent experience in sourcing, contracting and

managing suppliers
  • High level of proficiency in management and

direction or project teams for virtual, hybrid and

live events
  • Demonstrated ability to network and hold

professional relationships with colleagues at all

levels
  • knowledge and/or application of understanding

in operational and governance road map
  • Deep knowledge and application of major

businesses and culture
