Job Purpose Statement

As part of a team of four, in this role you will be assisting the Head of CASS to be responsible for all CASS administration duties and daily tasks. To add support on all CASS related matters.

Role Responsibilities

How you'll spend your time...
Primary role in supporting the activities of the Head of CASS with particular focus on performing the necessary CASS custody and bank reconciliations and supporting the wider CASS governance framework. The following are examples of the likely work tasks for the role

o Daily Custody Reconciliation of State Street and SS&C reports and accounts incl. stock recs and asset held recs
o Breach monitoring, recording, oversight and escalation
o Complete Internal System Evaluation Method (ISEM) Check, daily, monthly and quarterly reviews and evidencing
o Daily oversight of all Client Money bank account balances and reconciliations
o Daily Oversight of Failed Trades and Shortfall funding
o Monitoring temp funding for Investment Trust Recs
o Treasury report and monitoring daily CM movements from Dealing to CM accounts including prudent segregation and timed transfers
o Daily Overcheques monitoring
o Adhoc dividends check and evidencing
o Monthly Client Mandate reports
o Monthly Client Entitlement report
o Maintain Client Money issue log and follow up queries with SS&C through Service Now
o Assist with the maintenance of the CASS Controls framework document
o Manage SS&C communications and project updates in the absence of the CASS Oversight Manager
o Actively participate at SS&C CASS Man Co Forums and Working Groups
o Attend SS&C Monthly Service Review and quarterly CASS Co-ordinator onsite reviews
o Monthly CASS Governance Committee meetings minutes
o Maintaining CASS Oversight Administrator Procedures
o Monthly CMAR production
o To assist with any internal or external audits, including collating data and reports.
