Meraki Talent is currently assisting a well-known Commodity Trading Business in their search for a Graduate Trading Analyst. Based in Central London, this position will work dynamically alongside a team of extremely talented individuals. This role is unique in setting a standard in how firms will manage Commodity Trade Support in the future and are set to double the size of the business in the next few years.

Based in Central London, this position will work dynamically alongside a team of extremely talented individuals. This role is unique in setting a standard in how firms will manage Commodity Trade Support in the future and are set to double the size of the business in the next few years.
Responsibilities
- You will sit within the Commodity risk team, supporting the rapidly expanding gas, power and carbon trading activity around the world.
- You will Produce a trading book P&L, exposure reporting and performance attribution.
- Contribute to the rapidly advancing digital agenda.
- Work closely with the accounting team, reporting and performance.
- You will assist with the preparation of market risk metrics and key risks in the portfolio.
- Provide accurate feedback on business activity and transactions.
- Ideally knowledge and understanding of energy trading markets and investments potentially via an internship.
- Very strong analytical skills and have the ability to communicate effectively.
- University degree in a Finance, Economics or Accounting field or similar such as Science, Mathematics or Technology
- Masters Or PHD highly desirable
- Knowledge of SQL, Python or R.
- Previous experience working with Open link/Endur.
- Previous experience working with pricing and exposure and calculation for non-linear financial instruments, such as swing or options.
- A good understanding or accounting and market risk concepts.
- Risk Management qualification (I.e. FRM, ERP, or PRM) OR CFA, ACA or CPA would be very desirable.
