Exciting opportunity for an Equity Analyst (VP/Director level) with a global investment management firm, sovereign fund. London

Responsibilities:
  • Manage multi-billion Pan-European equity portfolios as a team in accordance with established trading and risk parameters
  • Conduct research on sectors, industries and investment strategies
  • Collaborate and share market views with other portfolio managers
  • Manage the whole portfolio management process from a stock selection to trading
  • Prepare and present investment thesis and reviews if needed
  • Team work with integrity is very much required

Profile

Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in portfolio management or investment analysis, they are flexible on the seniority and the level of experience
  • Experience and good understanding of fundamental bottom-up analysis, portfolio & risk management, industry specific business cycles
  • Superior analytical skills - To conduct corporate interviews, fundamental analysis, financial modelling and own valuation
  • Ability to work autonomously - Ability to work independently, take initiative, plan and manage own tasks and performance
  • Experience in Financial, Real Estates, Consumer Staples, Energy, Utility sectors - not a must but an advantage
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Humility and ability to thrive in a highly collaborative global team with a strong desire to learn from and with other investors is essential
  • Good understanding of global/European financial markets
  • CFA or equivalent preferred
