Operational Risk Manager (AVP) - Private Equity

Key responsibilities and deliverables:

Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across the firm's portfolio in accordance with relevant regulations in the various jurisdictions we operate in.
Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures that are consistent with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, the board & audit committee on the firm's operational risk profile.
Guide business and functional areas on identification and evaluation of operational risks and associated controls.
Review / challenge operational incidents.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or higher, in Finance, Economics, Law, Accounting, Business, Statistics, Maths, Risk Management, or equivalent field required.
5-8 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, preferably with Buy Side Experience.
Knowledge of Risk areas associated with Private Equity & Fund administration.
Knowledge of relevant regulations, including but not limited to AIFMD, GDPR, and MiFID II.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant professional certifications such as FRM or PRMIA are a plus.
