Job Purpose Statement
In collaboration with a global Brand, Creative, & Content team, you will be responsible for design and development for a focused portfolio of work within the Columbia Threadneedle Investments firm that supports brand and marketing campaigns. In this role you will create and develop visual content used in a variety of communication mediums including digital and print, and ensures our brand is represented in an engaging way that aligns with stated standards and specifications.

Job Purpose Statement
In collaboration with a global Brand, Creative, & Content team, you will be responsible for design and development for a focused portfolio of work within the Columbia Threadneedle Investments firm that supports brand and marketing campaigns. In this role you will create and develop visual content used in a variety of communication mediums including digital and print, and ensures our brand is represented in an engaging way that aligns with stated standards and specifications.
Role Responsibilities
- Design print and digital content for all communication channels, maintaining a high standard of on-target, on-brand visual execution - with a keen eye for details and accuracy
- Work collaboratively with broader global creative team (inclusive of copywriters, designers, and content producers) from concept to completion.
- Identify ways to be innovative within our space, and explore ways to push the boundaries with inventive visual data executions or new media platforms
- Interpret creative briefs and be able to present creative rationale that supports the business goal to peers and internal stakeholders.
- Review materials to ensure stakeholder feedback has been addressed, and for brand accuracy and consistency
- Effectively and proactively lead deliverables and deadlines with transparency
- Manage final file libraries, including photo rights, iconography and native art files
Key Capabilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability in agency or Marketing role
- Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Acrobat, Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint. Aftereffects and Premiere desirable.
- Strong knowledge of typography, design principles, and illustration
- Ability to interpret creative brief objectives, work within brand guidelines and standards
- Strong relationship skills, attention to detail and ability to manage several projects at once in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Preferred working knowledge of HTML, UI, UX, and web standards
- You will have examples of your prior work i.e. an online portfolio
