We work with original equipment manufacturers, dealers, and distributors to offer competitive and flexible inventory financing programs for their commercial customers (Dealers). We serve multiple industries including: Recreational Vehicles, Marine, Motorsports, Industrial, Outdoor Products and Machinery.

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Sales Manager (RM), to join our existing UK Distribution Finance commercial team. The RM will be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing relationships with Customers located in North England and North Wales, with home office based location within close radius.

Activities will include frequent interactions with customers to service credit line requirements, originate new credit lines, preparation of proposals and credit packages, management of in life file conditions and KYC AML.

In this role, you will:
  • Communicate with customers via regular face to face, telephone and email contact to grow existing and new relationships
  • Support current and future needs through full understanding of their credit line requirements and clear explanation of program terms and facility conditions
  • Be able to understand manufacturer sales forecasts/plans to ensure alignment with dealer credit lines with proactive adjustment where requirement exists/credit profile supports
  • Conduct initial financial analysis and rationale to support credit line submissions and Underwriting decision process
  • Manage pipeline and commercial activities linked to credit line submissions through to documentation and credit line activation
  • Be able to negotiate appropriate forms of security to meet dealer credit line needs
  • Ensure KYC/AML, company and legal compliance and ascertain execution of legal contracts where required
  • Collaborate and consult with Portfolio and Account Management to resolve complex customer inquiries, billing errors, payment performance and disputes
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for portfolio growth, process improvement and risk control development
  • Attend annual trade shows, Dealer events and Vendor portfolio review meetings
Required Qualifications, International:
  • Experience in relationship management, origination and/ business development
  • Strong communication and credit skills, with direct experience in analysing companies and engaging directly with customers either face to face or over the phone in a consultative and commercial capacity
  • Fluency in English required
