Wells Fargo is looking for a CIB Intelligent Automation Lead which will be a role role within the International COO organization. The role will be a part of the COO Strategy team that focuses on executing business strategy through investments in capability, strengthening the risk and control environment and achieve efficiency through automation. As an International role, based out of EMEA, this role is open to applications across our EMEA offices.
This is a specialist role reporting to the International COO Strategic Initiatives Leader based in EMEA and functionally report to the Intelligent Automation Leader based in the US. This is a critical role to ensure the organization realize the benefits of Intelligent Automation including increased efficiency, improved accuracy, reduced manual processing and reduced costs.

- Setup the International IA framework, leveraging the model established within the team in US
- Act as a single 'point of contact' to own and oversee automation portfolio across the International business
- Be adept with IA toolkits and raise awareness of automation offering in the region
- Develop and execute a strategy roadmap to include identification of processes suitable for automation, prioritization based on ROI and deployment
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish the automation framework across the International regions, working in collaboration with the CIB US automation and regional Technology teams
- Raise awareness of automation offering and toolset across covered areas
- Single point of contact for International Business for managing automation portfolio (prioritization, new ideas, etc.,)
- Understand the business cases for automation (including cost vs benefit assessment)
- Manage the automation portfolio - including owing, overseeing the development and deployment of automation solutions
- Identify, create & maintain relationships with business stakeholders; collaborate with this group on a regular basis to ensure automation initiatives align with the broader organizational goals
- Provide feedback and partner with Technology teams on business needs not currently supported with existing tools
- Manage Jira automation queues & supply input to delivery lead on prioritization
- Actively participate in strategic planning and change management with the business
- Own Open, Backlog & Scoping stages of business automation work, including Jira queue management, scope, engagement contract & high level solution design
- Agree engagement contract and hand-off to delivery with delivery lead or partner organizations
- Stay up to date with emerging automation technologies and assess potential to benefit the broader organization
- In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required
- Background and strong understanding of automation toolkits - RPA, Tableau, Power BI (etc.)
- Understand the Wells Fargo International business to identify automation opportunities that align with broader organizational strategy
- Experience to setup teams focussed on automation, manage automation projects and handle competing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to think logically
- Ability to present complex technical business cases to broader and senior stakeholders
- Analytical skills to assess business processes and identify areas where automation can provide greater efficiencies
- Build consensus around automation initiatives and effectively manage conflicts when there are competing use cases
- Sound judgement with a high level of discretion
- Dynamic, highly motivated, target oriented and professionally committed
