My client is an international real estate investment management firm. They are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of the Senior Marketing Manager role will assist with building the firm's profile, narrative and assist the capital raising team by building opportunities for my client's people to meet prospects and maintain relationships with clients.

My client are looking for an individual with experience in Marketing and Communications, with strong content writing, campaign and project management skills and who is proactive and thrives on delivering across a broad range of marketing activities.

This is a varied role demanding a flexible and adaptable approach. Tasks included:

PR coordination:
  • Coordinate my client's relationship with their external global PR agency, ensuring all PR requests are actioned, generating ideas for interviews and by-lines and ensuring our stakeholders are briefed accordingly.
  • Support the Global Head of Marketing and Communications to drive the PR processes, success and strategy globally.


Content creation:
  • Build content for internal announcements and external marketing or comms purpose (e.g. event invitations / awards entries etc.).
  • Plan and deliver, independently the creation of newsletters, internal and external communications, on time and in line with the firm's vision.


Events proposal, coordination and delivery:
  • Work with local my client's teams to help build best-in-class roadshows and events
  • Coordinate campaigns and people to ensure events and participation in industry conferences is aligned to our brand and commercial ambitions


Lead generation campaigns - creation, management and reporting success:
  • Build, drive and measure lead generation campaigns
  • Collaborate with capital raising and research team to follow though leads from campaigns
  • Connect campaigns with CRM and ensure leads are nurtured
  • Support capital raising team to provide content and data to pitch books where needed


Digital Marketing:

Build strong organic and paid social on- and offline campaigns, in line with their overall campaign strategy and content calendar.

Project Management:
  • Coordinate and lead relationship with agencies and external partners on specific projects led by: publications, PR agencies, design agency, industry associations, media buying agency etc.
  • Ensure projects led by self are delivered on time, quality and with approval from all relevant stakeholders


Awards submission:

Work with global head of marketing & communications to identify priority awards my client want focus on, and coordinate preparation of entries, as well as communicate achievements internally and externally.

Person Specification
  • Educated to degree level
  • Fluent in English
  • Understanding of real estate investment markets and fund marketing / capital raising;
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of how to use CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce / Navatar) for campaign creation and to generate reports from CRM
  • Be adept at scanning the competitor's agenda/calendars and the news, to spot opportunities for the firm to differentiate from our competitors
  • Be confident to advise senior stakeholders to help them build their profiles both externally and internally
  • Be confident to escalate issues to senior members of the team as required
  • Understand the value of reporting, monitoring and analysing communications activity in order to help plan for future activity.


The successful individual will have:
  • Strong project management skills, given the multi-tasking nature of this role;
  • Commercial mindset;
  • Excellent content writing skills, having previously written independently content for external channels;
  • A love of marketing and storytelling and a drive to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Stakeholder management and an ability to work hand-in-hand with other parts of the business to deliver campaigns;
  • Good understanding of the wider business environment, political landscape and the impact actions can have on client relationships;
  • Willingness to innovate, and ability to think creatively on how to deliver on key tasks;
  • An understanding of data requirements for industry databases;
