As a Barclays Head of Trade Lending Service Management, you will be working within Wholesale Lending Transaction Cycle, which is part Operations supporting Corporate & Investment Clients across the lending life cycle including. Within this role, you will work across Operational and Business teams where you will drive performance delivery for the Lending portfolio whilst providing a range of high-quality analysis & support.

What will you be doing?
• Acting as key point of contact for Lending service performance ensuring accurate capacity and demand forecasts are provided to support key performance and risk reporting
• Defining and delivering a value added service improvement plan to ensure delivery of 'best in class' service to stakeholders, setting challenging but achievable targets
• Driving performance reviews with Lending teams and TWC Business to ensure visibility of service performance, providing a forum for the escalation of any issues
• Ensuring financial and operational performance objectives are met by driving automation/productivity/efficiency and people/career development programs
• Maintaining excellent relationships within CIB Ops and wider TWC business partners and internal/external stakeholders
• Managing a team to deliver performance and cultivating an environment which encourages employee engagement, teamwork, collaboration, and communication
• Managing the control environment effectively by the governance of Risk, Control and Performance Indicators and maintaining fully tested controls & business continuity plans
• Leading a culture of optimisation and sustainability by enhancing the E2E customer journey and improving efficiency
What we're looking for:
• Demonstratable Lending experience working within a similar role
• Project and Change management experience with application of continuous improvement best practices
• Intelligent risk taker - someone who challenges the status quo and seeks best-in-class business and client focused outcomes with a keen focus on problem solving
• Understanding of legislation (including the Data Protection Act, Consumer credit, Companies Act, Insolvency Act, Financial Services Act, Money Laundering and KYC
Skills that will help you in the role
• Familiarity with internal IT systems across the Lending ecosystem including Siebel, Zeus, LISTT, GCIS, LoanConX, Intellimatch, Delphi, INFoRM, Fullserve, GPT, ACBS and Loan IQ
• Good Presentation skills: written and verbal, effective in concisely presenting information and concepts for consideration by Senior VP, Director and Managing Director level audience
