Fund Finance Associate, Private Equity

We are exclusively handling a new role for a successful European Private Equity firm based in central London. The firm manages over £5bn in assets. The role is a very broad one, covering elements of fund accounting, FP&A and investor reporting making this a really attractive proposition than others in the market. You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with some prior fund accounting experience. Hybrid working pattern on offer.

The Role:

Fund Accounting & Administration

• Preparation and review of quarterly reports and capital accounts for investors
• Review of investor drawdowns and distributions
• Review of carried interest waterfalls
• Involvement in relationship with outsourced fund administrator, Aztec
• Assist with half-yearly valuation process
• Annual audit
• Assist with ad hoc and regular investor queries

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Track record analysis
• Quarterly deals analysis for UK deal team
• Portfolio monitoring
• Portfolio exit projections
• Fee income and cost analysis

Tax

• Assist with preparation of information required to complete partnership tax computations and returns and review of output from professional advisers

Ad Hoc

• Help prepare and review information required by Investor Relations team
• Support administration of UK offices

Requirements:

• You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong academic background
• Previous fund accounting experience, ideally from Private Equity (or other closed-ended funds)
• Excellent all round interpersonal and communication skills
