Your new role

With our international portfolio growing, the Fund is hiring a Valuations Manager in the London office. Focusing on valuation of unlisted property assets, this specialist will work closely with our Property Investments team, across some of our most visible assets, such as Kings Cross & Canada Water;
  • Manage the valuation of unlisted property assets on an annual, semi-annual or quarterly cycle,
  • Responsible for accurate valuation process including;
    • Provision of information
    • Facilitation of management meetings
    • Briefing of external advisors
    • Reviewing draft valuation reports (in conjunction with the asset class team)
    • Financial model checks
    • Verifying accuracy of inputs
    • Assessing the reasonableness of key assumptions
    • Commenting on the appropriateness of the final value
  • Manage valuation risk, developing and contributing to the control process.
  • Work with internal and external third parties, including audit and our custodian.
  • Coordinate and negotiate terms, RFPs, engaging valuers etc.
  • Proactively collaborate with investment teams, resolving any property valuation concerns
  • Monitor the market and the performance of the investments.


This role is based on site at London King's Cross Estate, one of the core assets of the Fund's global portfolio.

What you'll need

Culture is key at AustralianSuper, and we are looking for someone who is a team player that enjoys working in a high performing collaborative team.
  • Significant experience working in the property sector, valuating large and complex property assets.
  • Hold post graduate qualifications/memberships - MRICS
  • Exposure working within an asset management/real estate firm or equivalent.
  • Proactive project management mindset
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills.
  • Experience analyzing and preparing reports.
  • Experience managing a small team.
