About our client

We are working with a global private equity fund and advisory group. They are looking for a driven and motivated Investor Relations Professional to join their global team. This role will be focused on investor communications for their listed investment strategy, which is a closed-ended investment company that predominantly invests in a portfolio of Private Equity Funds. They have a premium listing and are a constituent of the FTSE 250 index. What the job involves

Day to day responsibilities will include maintaining records of key investor contacts and requests to build an understanding of their investment objectives and key issues. You will coordinate with their corporate broker, identifying investor targets and contributing to the development of their marketing strategy, including coordination of meetings/roadshows and required materials. Experience coordinating responses to queries from investors including DDQs, ESG templates, and producing externally facing documents will be expected.

This position reports directly to the Head of Communications who works closely with the wider Investor Relations team. The incoming candidate will ideally have experience working in the financial sector, preferably in an investor relations role for a UK listed company. Creativity, with excellent written skills and ability to build engaging presentations and investor facing content will be essential. An understanding of the UK listing rules and regulations of a FTSE 250 member and an understanding of the disclosure and best practice requirements would be highly beneficial. Who we are looking for

  • Excellent written skills and ability to build engaging presentations
  • Strong numeracy skills and ability to understand financial concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactivity in building excellent relationships
  • Organised with an ability to thrive in a busy environment, prioritising workload effectively
  • An understanding of, or expereince within private equity would be advantageous
