The team

The Investment Services Platform Team reports to the Operations COO with a global remit. The team provides support to Investment and Operations teams and other groups operating on the Investment Platform (Aladdin by BlackRock). The Investment Services Platform Team works closely with BlackRock and teams across Schroders to support both business-as-usual platform operations and change.

What you'll do
  • Manage PMO and administrative activities for the Investment Services Platform Team
  • Bring industry best practice to further define and build out the PMO function
  • Responsible for tools, templates, standards and methodology across the team
  • Facilitate regular process to maintain views on team capacity and work item allocation
  • Provide PMO support for change delivery initiatives managed by the team
  • Maintain and manage various trackers for all aspects of the BlackRock service
  • Produce monthly reporting on services provided by BlackRock for Aladdin and change delivery initiatives
  • Schedule and organise meetings, take minutes, actions and follow up on actions, as appropriate.
  • Help facilitate periodic audit and due diligence requirements gathering exercises
  • Managing receipt, validation and processing of supplier invoices
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
  • Previous experience in a PMO / Administrative role within Asset Management
  • Well organised with the drive to enforce standards across the team
  • Good written and MS Office software skills, particularly in constructing presentations for reporting.
  • Comfortable working with data (Excel) and creating charts / insights
  • Experience of tools such as Azure DevOps ADO, Tableau, Power BI is beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage the day to day workload
