Miryco Consultants are working with a leading Investment Manager to recruit an Operations Analyst. Fantastic opportunity for any high-performing junior professionals with prior experience in a middle office role within an investment bank. Ideal for someone who is motivated by a dynamic, fast-paced and demanding team environment, ready to take a step up in their career.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with trade lifecycle tasks.
• Manage project-based activities revolving around reinsurance liabilities.
• Effectively and accurately carry out operational procedures to strict deadlines.
• Operational process improvement.
• Production and usage of spreadsheet models of large data-sets for data reconciliations and analysis.
• Summarise and report findings of data reconciliations assisting with queries and actions from internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2:1 degree from a leading university.
• Minimum 1 years' experience in an Operations/Middle Office role.
• Strong Excel skills - capable of manipulating large data sets.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay focused with absolute attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, manage own workload and work as part of team.
• Strong communications skills to clearly articulate status and issues to others.
• Strong analytical and presentational skills.
• Ability to work with complex documentation.
• Understanding of risk controls in a broad environment.
