As a Barclays Executive Assistant to the Consistently Excellent (CE) Programme Director, your role will be critical in supporting the CE change programme. You will be working in an EA role, and this could be a steppingstone into project management work. You will work in change programme which will help with the bank's ambition to bring the best of the bank to its customers and clients, making Barclays a consistently excellent organisation. In this role, you will also assist with programme forums and helping the project run smoothly.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. What will you be doing?
• Supporting the CE Lead in all aspects of the day to day running of the program, diary management, scheduling of meetings / workshops, interviews
• Ensuring all agenda, packs and materials are received and distributed before meetings, following up on actionable items and ensuring deadlines are met
• Arranging logistics for project workshops and meetings, responding to inquiries as needed, delivering accurate and detailed messages, managing the CE Lead inbox
• Taking ownership of DL's, Teams channels, efficient with OM, Taleo, Fieldglass, SAP, Recognition portal
• Overseeing Project Delivery Quality Assurance
• Assisting in the organisation of Portfolio level forum papers, agendas and various reports as required, ensuring they are prepared to a high standard on a timely basis
• Ensuring all Programme level documentation is in place and stored in an easily retrievable manner
• Assisting and ensuring that projects have the relevant documentation, plans and that the governance calendar is up to date and accurate

What we're looking for:
• Background as an EA within a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work with and present to senior stakeholders
• Excellent PC skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Ability to work across multiple sub-teams, divisions, and geography
• Team working skills, including working effectively within a remote team
• Ability to adapts to changing requirements, re-prioritising and changing course as necessary

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as: a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
