Senior Project Manager - Banking - Markets (Margin initiative) - £925 p/day - London

Harvey Nash are currently supporting an exciting, and very high profile, initiative within global Tier 1 Bank - requiring multiple Senior Project Managers to assist with the delivery of a Margin remediation initiative.

• c.£925 p/day (Umbrella)
• 6 months initial duration (3 year project)
• Canary Wharf (3 days on site/ 2 remote)

The Role:

Senior Project Manager / Workstream lead(s) required to assist with delivery of the Margin Initiative (remediation).

These are key hires for a multi-year program, with the opportunity to own project workstreams from initiation to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

• project/program mobilisation and scoping
• project plan and RAID management
• Managing workstream within the Margin Initiative, including tracking and reporting status of plan execution to senior governance forum
• preparation of responses / fielding queries from regulators
• Undertaking Business Analysis to support Target Operating Model design
• Liaising with internal stakeholders (Operation, Technology, Risk, Finance, Front Office, etc.)

Desired Experience:

• 10+ years experience. Must be an energetic self starter/able to drive initiative with minimal direction
• Seasoned PM experience in major/complex institutions (Tier 1 banks or Top 4 consulting firms)
• Experience working with Front Office / Trading and Sales / Technology teams
• Strong working knowledge of Markets products and environments
• Knowledge of OTC Derivatives, Repos, TBA, Exchange Trades Derivatives
• Ability to manage large / complex / diverse teams and projects
• Ability to put together high quality presentations for Regulators and Senior Management
• Experience in Margin, Clearing and Bilateral
