Key Responsibilities

Own Function (AM Direct Equity) Responsibilities • Collaborate with the PMG investment teams on pre-execution due diligence relevant to both the investment case for acquiring the asset as well as to ongoing asset management considerations • Support the identification of operating needs and value levers for newly-acquired portfolio companies across people, capital and sustainability themes including contributing to the definition and execution of a 100-day plan • Support senior asset managers work with the portfolio company management teams in helping to develop key strategic business and operational goals with appropriate KPIs (financial, operational and ESG-related including net zero carbon) • Take ownership of BAU activities of the asset management function such as monitoring data collection, analysis of reporting from portfolio companies and provide input of its performance versus goals / KPIs • Provide modelling support and valuation analysis to asset management teams as appropriate • Provide input in preparation of materials for internal forums such as Asset Management Committees, Portfolio Review Committees and Investment Committee when needed Broader (PMG) Responsibilities • Represent broader team in PMG-sponsored projects as well as pan-USSIM initiatives as appropriate • Act as an internal and external ambassador for PMG including exhibiting and promoting the PMG Terms of Trade and USSIM cultural values

Experience

• experience in either an investment or asset management role working with privately-held companies within a Private Equity and/or Infrastructure setting

• Likely to have worked in a similar role in one or more of the following: GP, Pension Fund, Asset / Fund Manager

• Experience within a Financial Services' consultancy / transaction services' organisation either in a Big 4 or smaller boutique also highly valuable

Skills and Technical Competencies

• Highly numerate (Accountancy qualification or CFA is considered advantageous but not a necessity)

• Familiarity with industry-standard valuation practices, financial modelling and knowledge of key financial terms

• Great attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication
