We're seeking a future team member for the role of UK THIRD PARTY OVERSIGHT MANAGER to join our UK Third Party Oversight team. This role is located in Manchester, UK.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Develop and embed enhanced controls over external vendor outsource providers, working in collaboration with the global Enterprise Change, Resilience and Sourcing Office (ECRSO), UK Legal Entity Risk Office, Compliance and business and legal entity stakeholders.
- Represent the UK legal entities at the weekly Regulatory Notification and Approval (RNA) reviews of new external vendor engagements.
- Facilitate the assessment of new external vendor outsourcing engagements for CASS consideration.
- Maintain the UK legal entity lists and registers of material external vendor providers, in close collaboration with the primary engagement managers, certified person contacts and ECRSO.
- Validate and calibrate the materiality and outsourcing assessments, in close collaboration with the second line of defence and Senior Manager Functions (under the Senior Managers Certification Regime) and facilitate the necessary governance body approvals and regulatory notification.
- Provide regular Management Information reporting at Board and Committee level for material external vendor engagements.
- Creation of monthly status reports to Risk Management Committees and updates to Board and Committees with respect to the UK Third Party Oversight Framework.
- Maintenance of existing and creation of new effective relationships with global ECRSO stakeholders, line of business leads, UK service recipients and EMEA counterparts to facilitate efficient and effective outsourcing processes across the region, developing and adopting tools as required.
- Timely implementation of remediation of audit, compliance monitoring and self-identified issues.
- Provide subject matter input into regional and global third party governance initiatives.
- Actively review and look for opportunities for process improvements and best practice adoption across the UK Banking Legal Entities and the wider organisation.
- Experienced in External Third Party Outsourcing and Third Party Risk Management, in particular the requirements of the Prudential Regulation Authority's Supervisory Statement 2/21.
- Experienced in senior management reporting with a strong awareness of governance structures.
- Experienced in MI collation analysis and challenge.
- Attention to detail with respect to activities such as senior management report writing, reconciliation and data analysis.
- Proven PC skills, including the utilisation of advanced Excel and Sharepoint functionality.
- Good understanding of at least one or more of the UK Banking Legal Entities key businesses/products; Asset Servicing, Corporate Trust, Global Accounting Services, Transfer Agency or Treasury Services is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet regulatory deadlines in a pressurised environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
