The Role:

We are searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Real Estate RFP Writer to support with the production and writing of RFPs, DDQs, RFIs and Survey and Award submissions across the Wholesale and Institutional business for Real Estate strategies.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing RFP team and collaborate with teams across the business and to contribute to the team strategy and our award winning (and growing) Real Estate department.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Delivery of high-quality RFPs and DDQs on M&G funds
  • Liaise with; investment specialists, directors, content writers, compliance, performance and risk departments etc. and a variety of other sources within M&G to ensure responses are optimal and tailored appropriately
  • Learn to utilise competitor research produced within the team to ensure correct messaging within RFP responses
  • Participate in wider team projects involving the content database as well as ad-hoc projects to build the team's profile around the business.
  • Learn about the needs of our clients - be they internal M&G sales teams or the investors in our funds
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • To have strong working experience in the Asset Management industry and a willingness to learn more about Investments
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative to improve RFP processes and content
  • Knowledge of Q&A databases is preferred (RFPIO)
  • Ideally IMC qualified or working towards this or other relevant qualifications.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
