Quanteam Group is a Consultancy firm specialising in the financial sector, in London, Paris, Brussels, New York and Singapore.

Since 2007, our 800 consultants provide our sector with expertise and capacity across different areas such as Financial Engineering and Quantitative Research, Regulations and Market Change, IT Transformation and Innovation.

Our major clients are Corporate & Investment Banks, Asset Managers, Financial Associations, Hedge Funds, Brokers, Trading Companies, and Insurance Companies.

The company participates in major Programmes driven by Business, Technology and Regulatory initiatives, and we bring business advice through quantitative, risk, front-office, and organisational experience as well as IT expertise via Business Analysis, Development, Business Continuity and Change Management.

As part of the Quanteam Group, Quanteam UK, based in the City of London, counts more than 80 consultants, delivering our expertise to major financial institutions in London.


As part of our development, we are currently looking for a new Business Manager, to join a team of 3 Business Managers - the BM team - to help expand our services and increase our client base.

Account Management & Business Development

Reporting to the Head of Business Management, the contribution to the development of the Business lies across 2 axes:
  • Account Management: you will help manage our portfolio of existing clients (major financial institutions), in order to increase our level of partnership with them and expand our services across all departments.
  • Business Development: you will also be responsible for originating new Business opportunities, by promoting the company and our services to new prospects, winning new clients, and expanding our services.

As a Business Manager, you will be involved in every stage of the business development process:
  • Business Meeting with the new/existing client to gather and qualify needs and requirements for their projects
  • Briefing / collaboration with TAM (Talent Acquisition Management) team to source, hire and mobilise the best consultants to deliver projects
  • Engaging our clients into buying the solutions we are offering
  • Negotiating with clients (CVs, solutions, interviews, prices)
  • Win assignments, projects and programmes
  • Drive PNL and Margin

Consultants Management & Projects follow-up:

In addition, you will have to manage your consultants operating on the client site by regularly meeting with them and assessing progress towards project milestones and deliveries and helping them resolve any challenges - and in coordination with your clients.

Expertise as well as developing relationships will be key.

  • You have between 2 and 5 years of experience in Business Development or Recruitment in the financial industry and/or in a Consultancy company
  • You are motivated, responsive, and able to learn quickly and develop a real expertise about Financial Markets & Technology
  • You are self-confident, with excellent relationship and communication skills
  • You also demonstrate team spirit, resilience, and integrity
  • You are results-driven and have also a strong interest for the financial sector
  • You are able to go to the extra mile as often as necessary to achieve results
  • You have the willingness and motivation to contribute significantly to the growth of the company and you are motivated by new challenges.

  • Second language
  • Experience in responding to RFPs
  • Face-to-face experience.
