As a Financials Credit Research Associate you will:
  • Support two senior analysts in preparing industry and market data files, charting and presenting the output; individual company modelling; and broader research on the financials sector
  • Become adept at in-depth analysis of your industry and companies
  • Contribute to our highly differentiated written product
  • Build relationships with company managements as well as sales, trading, and institutional clients

Qualifications

Our Research Associates typically possess:
  • Track records of outstanding academic performance, including honors and awards. Academic credentials typically include test scores and grades in the 90th percentile and above.
  • 2-3 years' experience (gained from a credit ratings agency, with familiarity of banks, or Treasury or counterparty credit/risk management, or ACA with financials exposure, or experience within a Central Bank or within the IR department of a bank)
  • A keen interest in the financial sector, including banking and insurance sectors
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills (may have credentials such as the CFA, ACA or CPA)
  • Excellent broad-based analytical skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level
