The Central Executive team in EMEA supports the EMEA CEO in the execution of the strategic vision for the region. This includes managing interactions with key stakeholders and senior management in the region in order to navigate complex business issues, drive efficient regional governance and help facilitate change. We are a driven, collaborative and diverse team that works closely with business leaders across areas including strategy, corporate governance and change management.

Responsibilities
  • Support the CEO EMEA's business vision across EMEA and externally to:
    • Ensure alignment with and execution of Macquarie Group's global strategy in the region; and
    • Assist in managing interaction with key stakeholders, particularly senior management and staff in the region and internationally
  • Assist with the design and implementation of the strategic agenda of the CEO EMEA office
  • Aid in the preparation of management reports and presentations for various Group and regional regulatory boards and the Global Management Committee on behalf of the CEO EMEA
  • Support the Group Board, Group CEO and other Group senior management visits to the region including designing and organising programmes of events and writing presentations
  • Support the regional management committees, including setting of agendas and helping drive strategic programmes of work
  • Develop a strong knowledge of all business groups through involvement in regional Group projects

Key Requirements
  • Commercial acumen and demonstrable problem-solving skills used to develop and implement solutions to complex business issues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with flexibility to adapt style as required
  • Ability to deal with both internal and external key stakeholders as required
  • Strong verbal communication skills, coupled with the confidence to liaise with senior business leaders
  • Ability to co-ordinate internal processes and forums
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills
  • High level of motivation and ability to work autonomously
  • A broad understanding of financial services is preferred but not a pre-requisite

Central Executive comprises the offices of the CEO, Deputy CEO and regional leadership.
