Career Returners:

In partnership with Women Returners, we are launching our 2023 intake of our forthcoming Career Returner Programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced professionals who have taken an extended career break of 18 months or more to re-join the workplace in a supportive and flexible way.

In the recent past, we have recruited returners who have been out of the workplace for as long as 9 years and whilst some roles we offer may require specific expertise or knowledge, for most roles we are looking for potential.

We welcome applications from all diverse backgrounds and are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, capable of building and maintaining relationships and are enthusiastic to work and learn with us.

Location: Edinburgh, Stirling, Bath or London
Programme: 12-month or permanent returnship
Start Date: September 2023

• You will receive coaching support from Women Returners for the first 6 months to help you transition successfully back into the workplace, as well as a mentor and buddy at M&G for the duration of the programme"

• The programme is expected to include hybrid working, which will include time working from home. Various other flexible working options may be available during and after the programme depending on the team and the role"

Who are we looking for?

• Experienced professionals who have taken a career break of 18 months or more (as of September 2023). During this time, you may have been working small-scale around other commitments or have not done any paid work
• Interested in returning to the Financial Services sector
• Skills and experience relevant to the role, as listed in the advert
• The right to work in the UK
