Senior Fund Controller - Edinburgh - Permanent

HRC are working with a global Investment Manager in Edinburgh to recruit a Senior Fund Controller into their Infrastructure Operations team. This team forms part of the wider Infrastructure and Real Assets teams within the business, the role holder will report directly to the Fund Control manager.

Responsibilities of the Senior Fund Controller
  • Working closely with the investment team and aiding the investment directors on finance related assignments relating to fund products
  • Review fund NAV and mandate positions following preparation by third party administrators
  • Monitor underlying investments NAV calculations and transactions
  • Producing accounts for limited partnerships, coordinating the production process of accounts for funds; including liaising with auditors
  • Maintaining and monitoring transactional records
  • Reviewing quarterly funds and direct investment valuations, working closely with investment team
  • Assisting in the administration of bank accounts, monitoring cash balances for funds, and acting when necessary
  • Analysis of trends and produce reports for the wider business
  • Reconciling in house records to third party records e.g., check on NAV, income, cash balances


Background of the Senior Fund Controller
  • Experience within asset management operations/audit/accounting
  • Working knowledge of IFRS
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong PC skills, specifically MS Excel
  • Good communication skills
