Our client is a multi-asset institutional investment firm, focussed on their growth of assets under advisory. They are based in London, and their core strategies are within both the private and the public market space. They also work across credit and real estate strategies.
As part of their expansion of their Private Equity Co-investment strategy, they are actively looking to grow this team. This role provides the exciting chance to be involved in its development, leveraging their pre-existing relationships with GPs. Furthermore, as the team progresses, it will expand and broaden its strategy to cover the direct buyout investment arm of the business. As an integral member of this team, you will work across a variety of strategies, with senior team members, from the origination through to the execution of these deals. What the job involves

- Work on all aspects of the transaction process, from origination through to execution of investments
- Develop and analyse financial models for potential investments
- Assist in commercial due diligence workstreams
- Interact with external parties, as well as other internal team members, to identify new opportunities
- Screen and evaluate investment opportunities, ability to articulate your thoughts
- Financial modelling skills developed while working in M&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Advisory or PE experience
- Strong financial acumen
- Good general understanding of the private equity industry, in particular co-investment strategies
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong judgement, able to present ideas effectively
- Team-player, confident working in a lean team environment, able to adapt to the needs of the team
