FP&A Manager

This London based FP&A Manager role is with a prestigious financial services business.

Description

The responsibilities of the successful candidate for this London based FP&A Manager role will include:

• Manage the production of full budgetting and forecasting process
• Collaborate with the corporate finance team in building out firm-wide FP&A function and consolidation of business results
• Modelling of various business scenarios and perform various sensitivity analysis
• Collaborate with the business groups to obtain any upcoming adjustments that may impact forecasting, and ensure modelling assumptions are up to date
• Provide cost transparency reporting to department heads and various stakeholders to help the business optimise spend and cost control
• Develop and improve the creation of KPI and other business segment/fund performance metrics
• Maintain segment financial model including forecast and actual reporting and tracking KPIs including, calculating and reporting revenues and expenses
• Create new reports and summarise key portfolio metrics of the fund businesses
• Identify variance drivers by comparing and analysing actual results to the budget, forecast, and prior years
• Support the Business Unit's strategic objectives, through strong analysis.

Profile

The successful candidate for this London based FP&A Manager role will have the following exposure:

• Fully completed accounting qualification
• Previous experience working ideally for a buy-side firm in a FP&A capacity for 7+ years or alternatively in any financial services firm for that matter
• Strong financial modelling skills (all existing models are Excel built)
• Previous experience implementing a FP&A tool, ideally Workday, is highly desirable
