As a future Senior Operational Efficiency Manager, you will report to the Global Head of Fund Accounting and Central Services and you will be part of the Central Services Team within AXA IM Real Estate.

AXA IM, Alts - Real Estate is Europe's largest real estate investment manager, with €117bn AUM*, invested in over 20 countries globally, and operating from 12 offices in Europe, US, Japan and Australia. Working as part of the Central Services Team, and following the recent implementation of new global systems, this role is critical to driving operational effectiveness and efficiency across the global investment platform.

Specifically, the role will:
  • Drive the achievement of the global target operating model through key internal and external stakeholders
  • Maximise the use of the new technology infrastructure and data to improve business efficiency
  • Optimise key business processes

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in driving the business and external suppliers towards the global target operating model, enabling the optimisation of business efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead the development of a continuous improvement culture and ensure there are appropriate structures in place to support this. Ensure all key internal and external stakeholders (e.g., corporate managers, valuers, banks, auditors, third party processors) are aligned and motivated to delivering improvements in systems and processes
  • In collaboration with key stakeholders identify, prioritise and deliver opportunities for standardising and optimising key operational processes, utilising or enhancing technology and data where appropriate
  • Coordinate, manage, and oversee the rollout of required new system functionality / processes into the business, ensuring robust change management processes are followed
  • Own the inventory, analysis and prioritisation of business / service provider change requests impacting operations, ensuring each new initiative is properly assessed and developed into a business case / requirements documents / delivery plan
  • Assess key business reporting and analytics requirements, identifying gaps in current data and processes, and prioritising where to focus development efforts.
  • As necessary support the development / delivery of projects from specification through to delivery
  • As necessary maintain the operational project list for the real estate business, providing status updates as necessary to governance committees
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time

Education/Qualifications:
  • Appropriate Degree (e.g., Business Administration / Finance or Real Estate)
  • Sufficient post qualified experience

Experience

Essential:
  • Significant experience of delivering change in global companies
  • Process design / process optimisation
  • Project management experience

Desirable:
  • Real estate industry experience
  • Experience of the YARDI Voyager system
  • Experience of real estate accounting / financial controlling processes

Knowledge / Skills:
  • Solid understanding of processes and controls, and how to document them
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships at senior levels (internal and external)
  • Fluent in spoken and written English is essential. Second languages useful
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office tools (especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Strong influencing / negotiation skills

  • Ability to fully collaborate across diverse geographies, internal functions and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and still ensuring quality requirements
