Fund Finance Manager - Real Estate

Investigo is teaming up with a global asset manager in the City on their search for an ambitious Accountant to lead their most dynamic UK portfolio. If you're a Fund Accountant or Management Accountant with experience working with real estate JVs looking for a new challenge with genuine career progression and unwavering WLB, this is worth exploring.

Joining a team of 3 heads, this role will take main responsibility for the firms most challenging UK portfolio - this dynamic, fast paced portfolio comes with an extremely hands on and passionate investor and portfolio team, meaning a high degree of business partnering and the confidence to manage these key relationships is a must. This role will have the support of 1 or 2 PQ Accountants so will suit somebody looking to start developing their management career.

There will also be an opportunity to get involved with M&A of new assets and launches of new funds in time.

Duties will involve but not be limited to - reach out for the full spec:

• Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting and management accounts oversight / sign off on the assets
• Review and analysis of finance property reports from third party providers
• Ensuring financial information is correctly uploaded into the necessary general ledger systems
• Set up and wind down of Fund entities
• Responding to queries from investors in a timely and accurate manner
• Setting accounting policies and internal controls for the fund Review and analysis of finance property reports from third party providers
• Review of transactions at entity holding level
• Active involvement in property/corporate acquisitions and disposals
• Ensuring finance reports are maintained under relevant GAAP
• Preparation / review of NAV statements and supporting calculations
• Review of finance reports to investors

Experience required:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant with at least 1.5 years of post qualified industry experience within real estate
• Understanding of NAVs and fund structures / JV / SPVs
• Drive and ambition - team player mentality with confidence to work with asset and portfolio teams
