Role Overview:

TP ICAP's Parameta Solutions has set exciting objectives to grow its business and increase contribution to group revenues across a five-year period. Aligned to this strategy is the position of a Business Development Manager focussed specifically on the Buy-Side to be located in the TP ICAP's London office.

The Business Development Manager, Buy-side, will work to grow Parameta's revenue across Investment Firms including Asset Owners, Asset Managers and Hedge Funds in their allocated territory in EMEA from both existing client and new logo acquisition. You will own client interaction, lead curation, buy-side sales strategy and localised interaction with key channel partners. Internally you will work closely with the product specialist, sales and marketing teams to accelerate growth. It will also be important to build stakeholder engagement with the relevant TP ICAP brokerage desks.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Drive organic revenue growth from key markets, strategic accounts and new products across existing clients and new business opportunities.
  • Construct, forecast, and manage pipeline via Salesforce.com.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Perform diverse functions effectively: territory management, account management sales strategy and lead generation.
  • Maintain and build on your understanding of the OTC fixed income and derivative markets.
  • Contribute to the global Parameta Solutions sales and marketing strategy.
  • Implement strategic key account plans.
  • To fulfil any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
Experience / Competences:
  • Proven track record of growing a client base and consistently exceeding revenue targets and organizational goals.
  • Addition language skills (e.g. French, Spanish or Italian) is desired.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying client needs.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in use of Salesforce.com and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of OTC fixed income, derivative and energy & commodities markets.
  • Self-starter with ability to problem solve, adapt, and grow with the sales organization.
  • Demonstrate previous experience selling market data & analytics.
  • Able to demonstrate working knowledge of a sales methodology.
