Now About the Role:

The Role: Fixed Income Pricing Analyst

The Team: The fixed income pricing team provides independent pricing, analytics and liquidity metrics on loans, CDS and government, sovereign, agency and corporate bonds. Using proprietary tools and various market data sources, we evaluate over 200,000 prices intraday.

The Impact: This position will be for someone who understands how fixed-income instruments are priced, with a special focus on corporate & government bonds and syndicated loans. The successful candidate will be expected to monitor market movements and become a sector specialist in their designated area. Operational tasks such as data quality, customer support, and client relationships will also be part of this role.

What's in it for you: The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately pricing various sectors of the EMEA fixed-income market using proprietary models. Responsibilities will include accurate valuation of fixed-income securities intraday as markets move, credit spread analysis, dealers quote research, analysis of primary and secondary markets, maintaining existing pricing models and increasing sector coverage, managing client challenges and providing asset class & product expertise to customers. Further education is encouraged and supported.

Responsibilities: The pricing team is a small unit operating in a time-sensitive environment. As such, all members must participate in all activities necessary to keep the product competitive and moving forward. A sense of willingness to do whatever needs to be done is key to the team's effective operation. Flexible working hours to cover the London shift when required.

What We're Looking For:

A team player who is motivated, a self-starter, has the ability to drill into details as well as present the big picture, flexible and personable.

Basic Qualifications/ Experience:
  • University degrees in Finance, Economics, and Mathematics are all suitable.
  • Knowledge of SQL is desirable to extract and analyse live data.
  • Knowledge of the fixed-income markets, particularly the cash markets. Keen awareness of the credit space.
  • The candidate should naturally be attracted to the financial markets and the issues that affect them.
  • The candidate must be highly detail oriented and able to make decisions quickly with large datasets.
  • The candidate should have a growth mindset.
  • Constant communication between teammates is critical, and the ability to articulate and present situations clearly is a key characteristic of the candidate, as you will need to speak to customers.
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience:
  • Studying towards CFA
  • Knowledge of regulation and ESG.
  • Experience working in a hands-on capital markets role (e.g. Trading assistant, IPV, or pricing analyst from another vendor) is preferred.
  • Experience working with Sales, Business Development or Technology, and Product Development is useful.
  • Python/Tableau/Power BI are also extremely desirable.
