Lead Institutional Investment Operations Specialist

Reporting to the Lead Data Analyst, this candidate would be expected to lead and take responsibility for the definition, development, implementation and operation of a data analytics and control framework, in order to provide business leaders with actionable data on the International client lifecycle.

• Experience working with a range of 'self serve' data analytics software solutions, as well as with enterprise databases/technology
• A passion for solving complex data challenges and designing a reporting and control environment to support the International business teams
• Ideally with experience of working with client data or with large data sets as part of the operations environment within a financial institution

Main function:

Responsibilities:

Establish a client lifecycle data analytics function

• Design, build and run a data analytics function, focused solely on managing, controlling and reporting for the client lifecycle environment, in support of the International Client Lifecycle Director.
• Work closely with the Client Lifecycle Director to develop a data driven approach in support of the client lifecycle environment
• Develop a deep knowledge of the client lifecycle in order to implement a robust data driven control environment
• Develop and implement databases and data collections systems focused on client data and supporting processes
• Implement a data acquisition approach from a range of primary and secondary sources
• Work with senior stakeholders, client lifecycle team members and subject matter experts to develop meaningful and actionable reporting
• Manage the day to day data analytics operation and report production in order to identify, analyse and interpret trends within the data sets

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in Institutional Investment Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Skills:

• Operational Data Analyst with a significant experience related to the client lifecycle environment
• Ability to influence stakeholders in order to develop the client lifecycle service offering
• Deep knowledge and expertise within the client lifecycle environment or closely related roles (client data/account management/client workflow management)
• Ideally with experience of establishing a data driven workflow to support the operational service environment
