Senior Developer

Role Responsibilities

• Work across the full stack, to deliver high-quality testable code to deliver new product features.
• Provide technical advice to other developers and take an active role in designing new technical standards.
• Take ownership for driving change and innovation, bring relevant teams together and lead retrospectives.
• Assess and recommend architectural patterns based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in and, where appropriate, lead meetings with business stakeholders. You will work closely with the business and be involved in all aspects of the software lifecycle. The focus will be developing cloud-native applications to digitise Insight's investment process for the front office.

Experience Required

• Financial Services development experience, ideally with experience working in a Front-Office role and/or the Asset Management industry
• Strong experience of front-end development in ReactJs / JavaScript / JEST
• Expertise in C# / .NET Framework / .NET Core
• Experience working with SQL Server, writing TSQL
• Experience working in Agile teams performing iterative development
• Fundamentals and approaches: OOP, SOLID principles, TDD/BDD/ATDD
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity / Artifactory)
