Job Summary & Purpose:
To be responsible for production of management accounts
To be responsible for payroll and payroll tax reporting
Manage the Company audit and assist with Group Audit
Other miscellaneous tasks as and when required

Other miscellaneous tasks as and when required
Accountabilities:
Financial Accounts:
- Responsibility for all aspects of sales ledger including invoicing and revenue journals.
- Inter-company invoicing and reconciliations
- All month end processes including reconciliation balance sheet accounts, month end journals and system month end runs
- Preparation of indirect tax returns
- Preparing analyses for and assisting in management of external audit
Management Reporting:
- Preparation of the Reports for the monthly management meeting.
- Preparation of cash flow summaries and forecasts
- Assist in preparing additional reports as required
Payroll
- Timely processing of UK payroll, in conjunction with the payroll service provider
- Processing of payroll for a small number of overseas employees
- Processing UK pension contributions
- Preparation of annual payroll tax returns
- Keeping abreast and informed of payroll developments
- Ad-hoc analyses and tasks as required
Part Qualified: ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified/part qualified or equivalent
Mentoring and Managing the Finance Assistance
Other Requirements:
- Travel
- Attendance at company events as directed
- Demonstrable understanding of double entry book keeping and accounting principles
- Prior experience with month end processes
- Microsoft Excel Skills - intermediate to advanced essential
- Confident user of one / more accounting system; Sage/X3 advantageous
- Strong English written and oral communication skills
- A high level of detail consciousness, accuracy, timeliness and personal organisation
- Willingness and ability to take ownership of role
- Attendance at company offsite meeting
- Signing and complying with terms of Albourne Compliance Manuals
