As a Senior Investment Operations Analyst you will ensure daily, periodic and ad-hoc trade lifecycle services are completed to deliver seamless service to Quilter Investors (QI) business teams.

You will support the Investment Operations Manager in building out the QI operating model, and support with the implementation of any required business changes that impact the Investment Operations' systems or processes.

The Senior Investment Operations Analyst will also:

Review and update existing operational processes and procedures to define the activities to support the operating model.
Ensure the integrity and reconciliation processes of the QI data are robust, comprehensive, precise and are followed by the Investment Operations team
Lead investigations to review incidents or errors that occur and work to identify the root cause to prevent a reoccurrence
Strive to identify ways to improve operations' service quality and delivery standards
Assist the Investment Operations Manager to ensure all external service providers are delivering to agreed service, support and quality standards, and complete regular due diligence reviews
Perform operational impact assessments required for any new instruments, new brokers and product changes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trade lifecycle, including derivative instruments and collateral management, and proven operational experience in financial services with sound knowledge of a wide range of investment products including Equities, Investment Trusts, CIS, ETDs, Bonds, FX, CDS.

Importantly you will have experience in dealing with third party providers, administrators and platforms such as Clearing Brokers, Custodians, Auditors, and maintain strong oversight and support activity.

Your intermediate to advanced Excel capability will aid your ability to consume large volumes of data, and create clear, concise reporting for management information. You will also be delivery focused, with a high level of attention to detail, and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Ideally, you will have knowledge of order management systems such as Thinkfolio and Markit EDM.
